Norman P. Ellison, M.D.
Medical Director
Dr. Norman P. Ellison is a Board Certified Physician in Family Practice. He started his career in Ontario, Canada where he had a flourishing practice for many years. Later in his career Dr. Ellison relocated to Boca Raton, Fl where he established a Family Practice serving this community for many years. Dr. Ellison has been involved in Alternative Medicine for some years and is enthusiastic about joining our team at our hyperbaric oxygen therapy center.
We are honored to have a fine physician like Dr. Norman P. Ellison as the Medical Director of our facility.
Dr. Charles Neuringer, M.D.
Facility Administrator
Dr. Charles Neuringer graduated Chicago Medical School, and did his training at Montefiore and Emory Hospitals. After his residency he served in the Armed Forces as a Major in the Air Force. He moved to Florida where he has been practicing medicine for over 35 years. His continued interest in treating patients in new and innovative ways has been the catalyst which interested him in the Hyperbaric Services of the Palm Beaches. Dr. Neuringer is certified in Hyperbaric and Undersea Medical Training. He is thrilled to be a part of the Hyperbaric team because of the positive results the Hyperbaric treatments have afforded to many patients who before had no hope to be helped medically.
Connie Governale
Director of Business Development
Connie started her career at a young age as an employee of New York City Department of Health. There she was recognized as one of the first females in the field of computer data processing for the State of New York.
Connie has many years of experience in the medical field and her past experiences have played a major role in the development and success of a large multidisciplinary neurosurgical/diagnostic center in Fort Lauderdale for many years. Included in this large center was hyperbaric oxygen therapy used in the treatment of neurological conditions.
She was instrumental in bringing forth the first International Symposium for Cerebral Palsy and the Brain Injured Child.
Connie's tenure has provided her with many years of experience and knowledge in the everyday operations of a multi-faceted medical center. She is seasoned in insurance reimbursement issues, knowledgeable in marketing and insurance contracting. Her years in the medical field including hyperbaric oxygen therapy will be a contributing factor to the success of this facility.
Anne Marie Heid
Hyperbaric Technician
Anne Marie Heid has many years of experience in the medical field; most of her medical career has been spent in the field of Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy. She is recognized for her knowledge in this specialized field and her warmth and compassion for her patients is unmistakable. Her primary concern is her patient’s well being and safety.
Anne Marie understands the actual treatment because she not only worked as a technician but has also been a tender inside the chamber with children supervising them throughout their treatment. Her son has also been a recipient of HBOT for Latent Stage Lyme Disease.
She was also instrumental in bringing forth the first International Symposium for Cerebral Palsy and the Brain Injured Child.

Laura Mastrony
Hyperbaric Technician
Laura Mastrony is a trained in TCP02 She is a Hyperbaric oxygen technician who brings to HSPB over 20 years of experience in the medical field, including practicing as a patient coordinator for area Hyperbaric facilities. As the mother of a child with a traumatic brain injury, her in-depth understanding of the needs of patients has fostered a facility environment that is warm, inviting and unique. Laura is committed to the benefits of hyperbaric oxygen and remains on the cutting edge by advancing her knowledge of the therapy through continuing education.
Karen Casey Accounting Manager / Director Assistant
Karen Casey has over twenty years as a multi-faceted professional. She worked as a Credit Manger in Connecticut. There she was responsible for credit and collections, opening new accounts, and training office staff. She decided to leave that position to raise a family. Wanting to stay home with her children she became a licensed day care provider. She returned to the workforce after receiving training as a Nurse’s Aide. Her primary patient was a head injured male that she cared for for many years until he moved out of state to receive Hyperbaric treatments. Karen then became a bookkeeper for a company that managed properties for the elderly. After moving to Florida, Karen’s knowledge of Hyperbaric therapy led her to join the staff at Hyperbaric Services of the Palm Beaches as a Bookkeeper and assistant to the Director. Her compassion and understanding of patient’s needs combined with her business skills makes her perfect a fit.
Carlyle Bryant-Spina
Director of Marketing
Carlyle’s extensive marketing experience spans 20 years and encompasses the development and implementation of marketing strategies for organizations in a wide range of industries including real estate, hospitality, retail, financial, professional services, consumer products and health care. She has counseled high profile regional and national firms in the areas of media relations, business development, institutional image building, research, training, advertising, special events, web site development, copywriting and collateral/communications tools development. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications from Florida State University, is a published author and mother of twins.
