Bruce Gottlieb, M.D. - Medical / Clinical Director Dr. Bruce Gottlieb is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist and has practiced for the past twenty-five years. He is originally from the New York City area, but for the last sixteen years he has resided in South Florida. He is a Certified Hyperbaric Medicine Physician. His training includes the S.U.N.Y. Downstate Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine, and Cornell New York Hospital. Dr Gottlieb had the opportunity to work with Dr Richard Neubauer, a pioneer in the field of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. He was a supervisor at Bethesda Memorial Hospital. He holds a certification from the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society in Hyperbaric Medicine and wound care. We are thrilled to have him on our staff. He brings years of knowledge and experience which not only enriches our staff but also benefits our patients. |

John DeLuca MD, DC - Staff Physician Dr. John DeLuca is a 2005 graduate of St. George’s University School of Medicine. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey in 2008 and is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Prior to attending medical school, Dr. DeLuca was a practicing Chiropractic Physician, board certified in the areas of Pain Management, Chiropractic Sports Care and Clinical Nutrition. He received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Georgia, his B.S. in Nutrition from Penn State University and an M.S. in Human Nutrition from the University of Bridgeport. Dr. DeLuca is a Diplomate of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, and has obtained certifications in Hyperbaric Medicine, Pain Management, Nutrition, Strength and Conditioning, and Manipulation under Anesthesia. He is a member of the American Academy of AntiAging Medicine, the Institute of Functional Medicine, American Headache Society, the American College for the Advancement of Medicine, the American College of Physicians and the American College of Sports Medicine. He is considered an expert in Complementary and Alternative Medicine [CAM] and has presented multiple lectures as a Visiting Professor at St. George’s University School of Medicine. He has instructed hundreds of doctors at Activator Methods seminars. In addition to Internal and Hyperbaric Medicine, Dr. DeLuca’s interests include maximizing neurological functioning, Anti-Aging and Regenerative Medicine, Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation, Weight-loss, Headache and Pain Management, as well as promoting wellness and a healthy lifestyle. Dr. DeLuca practices Integrative Medicine. As defined by Dr. Andrew Weil, “Integrative medicine is healing-oriented medicine that takes account of the whole person (body, mind, and spirit), including all aspects of lifestyle. It emphasizes the therapeutic relationship and makes use of all appropriate therapies, both conventional and alternative." Dr. DeLuca’s unique training and professional background allows him to bring the best that each discipline has to offer and develops an individual treatment plan for each patient. Connie Governale - Director of Business Development Connie has many years of experience in the medical field and her past experiences have played a major role in the development and success of a large multidisciplinary neurosurgical/diagnostic center in Fort Lauderdale for many years. Included in this large center was hyperbaric oxygen therapy used in the treatment of neurological conditions. She was instrumental in bringing forth the first International Symposium for Cerebral Palsy and the Brain Injured Child. Connie's tenure has provided her with many years of experience and knowledge in the everyday operations of a multi-faceted medical center. She is seasoned in insurance reimbursement issues, knowledgeable in marketing and insurance contracting. Her years in the medical field including hyperbaric oxygen therapy will be a contributing factor to the success of this facility. |

Anne Marie Heid - Hyperbaric Technician Anne Marie understands the actual treatment because she not only worked as a technician but has also been a tender inside the chamber with children supervising them throughout their treatment. Her son has also been a recipient of HBOT for Latent Stage Lyme Disease. She was also instrumental in bringing forth the first International Symposium for Cerebral Palsy and the Brain Injured Child. Karen Casey - Accounting Manager / Director Assistant Karen Casey has over twenty years as a multi-faceted professional. She worked as a Credit Manger in Connecticut. There she was responsible for credit and collections, opening new accounts, and training office staff. She decided to leave that position to raise a family. Wanting to stay home with her children she became a licensed day care provider. She returned to the workforce after receiving training as a Nurse’s Aide. Her primary patient was a head injured male that she cared for for many years until he moved out of state to receive Hyperbaric treatments. Karen then became a bookkeeper for a company that managed properties for the elderly. After moving to Florida, Karen’s knowledge of Hyperbaric therapy led her to join the staff at Hyperbaric Services of the Palm Beaches as a Bookkeeper and assistant to the Director. Her compassion and understanding of patient’s needs combined with her business skills makes her perfect a fit. |

Carlyle Bryant-Spina - Director of Marketing Carlyle’s extensive marketing experience spans 20 years and encompasses the development and implementation of marketing strategies for organizations in a wide range of industries including real estate, hospitality, retail, financial, professional services, consumer products and health care. She has counseled high profile regional and national firms in the areas of media relations, business development, institutional image building, research, training, advertising, special events, web site development, copywriting and collateral/communications tools development. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communications from Florida State University, is a published author and mother of twins. |
